Free Consultations
Professionals with years of experience stand ready to meet with adolescents and those who care for them to listen attentively and help develop an individualized plan of action. We offer this service free of charge with absolutely no strings attached. The consultation affords us time to get to know your unique situation and work together to prayerfully fashion a way forward. The meeting is nothing to be nervous or anxious about. It is the starting point for every client who makes use of The PEACE Project, a great way to get off on the right foot in this journey together.
Christian Counseling
Counselors who have worked with adolescents for years bring their experience and expertise to The PEACE Project with a heart to help adolescents and their families through even the toughest of times. All counselors who belong to The PEACE Project are fully licensed to practice and firmly established as responsible practitioners in the counseling community. Referrals are given with the clients' unique needs and counselor specialties in mind.
Academic Coaching
Among the most imposing pressures adolescents face is the demand to succeed academically, but many students struggle to meet expectations without the necessary organizational and time management skills that yield sustained success. Academic Coaches who work with The PEACE Project come from diverse backgrounds, and varied specialties, but they all have in common a desire to help students reach their potential in their studies. They endeavor to help students gain confidence and learn important life skills for future success, whatever academic end they choose to pursue.
Youth Culture Conferences
Adolescents and parents often feel like they live in two different worlds. They speak different languages. They wrestle with different types of pressures. The PEACE Project offers Youth Culture Conferences to bridge the gap. Often enough, parents are eager to understand their teens, but perplexed by the music, the movies, the messages that so dramatically define their generation. Youth Culture Conferences are forums designed to give parents access to men and women who have an acute knowledge of youth culture. Three times annually, professionals who work with adolescents come together to sit on panels and lead discussions for parents and others who care for teens, to give them an informed perspective on youth culture and the confidence to engage adolescents in meaningful discussion about the forces at work in the world around them and the culture in which we live. See our calendar for the dates and times for our next Youth Culture Conference and pertinent details regarding the event.
Ministry Support
Men and women with years of experience in ministry to adolescents work as members of The PEACE Project to mentor young men and women in ministry who need wise counsel. Over coffee, at weekly meetings or on weekend getaways, they stand ready to offer their encouragement, pray, and provide the kind of competent and caring support so essential to those who give their lives in ministry to this generation. Anyone is welcome, and the invitation to scheduled Ministry Support events is open to all those who serve adolescents in ministry.
Financial Peace University for Teens
Too many young people handicap their future by making foolish financial decisions in their adolescent years. Financial Peace University is a program with a proven track record of success, helping people of all ages learn important life lessons about financial stewardship. Members of The PEACE Project are licensed to facilitate the program and passionate about helping teens develop sound financial habits that will positively impact their future. We offer the program throughout the year, as needed. Call us to reserve a spot in the next group or talk with us about the possibility of leading an intensive short course.
Parenting Partnerships
Parenting Partnerships are designed to supply parents of adolescents with a mentor who can identify with their struggles. These men and women aren't perfect, but they can offer perspective and help with the heartache and the unique trials parents in these years. They bring to The PEACE Project diverse experiences, having raised adolescent children of their own, eager to offer special insight and encouragement for the way.
